The West Central School Board elections will be a part of the May 4, 2010 primary. West Central School Corporation is represented by board members from each of the six townships and one at large member. Three of the seven board seats are up for re-election during the May primaries. The three seats represent Beaver, Cass and Salem Townships. Representatives are Dean Lowry, Jim Bergens and Kerry Miller respectively. Board members are elected to a four-year term with an unlimited number of terms that may be served. Anyone seeking a seat on the West Central Board of School Trustees must file a Petition of Nomination. Petitions of Nomination are available from and must be filed with the Pulaski County Clerk of the Circuit Court. The first day of filing the petition is January 20, 2010 and must be filed no later than 12:00 noon on February 19, 2010.
